The Search Intelligence team has a travel company client that organizes Disney World trips, for which it developed a campaign that got 30 backlinks from reputable publications, showing the power of combined data sets to create a unique story.

Here's how they did it:

  • They examined every ride from all four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort to see which one is the most popular.
  • They looked at three key factors for each ride: Instagram hashtags, Tripadvisor ratings, average monthly search volume.
  • These factors were combined in a spreadsheet to create an index of the most popular rides.
  • Some of the findings were that Magic Kingdom’s Splash Mountain is the most popular ride, followed by The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
