- They used popular trade-in site CeX to find out which games offer the highest trade in value for older generations of console. Only standalone games were included in this study, games that required extra accessories to be traded in were excluded.
- They developed a study with the data gather in which they concluded that ‘Rule of Rose’ on the PlayStation 2 could earn you up to £338 in cash and that ‘Gadget Racers’ on the GameCube could sell for up to £312.
- Once they had a top ten of the most expensive video games, they created a press release where we explained our findings.
