It's more challenging to be an SEO consultant today than a few years back.

If I'm learning anything from the SEOFOMO SEO Consulting Survey results so far, it is that most SEOs (59% of responses) feel there is a higher level of difficulty in achieving the expected SEO goals compared to a couple of years ago.

โ€‹

The top reasons given in the survey so far are the increased complexities in managing decision-makers expectations, obtaining buy-in, and influencing stakeholders amidst greater uncertainties caused by the AI/LLMs search threat. Additionally, higher SERP volatility, organic search traffic erosion due to SERP features, and more mature competition contribute to these challenges.

This also means that it has never been a better time to improve your SEO consulting skills while getting the support of experienced SEO consultants who are successfully navigating similar challenges.
